Michel Boulianne

Michel Boulianne has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michel recently served as the Chief Legal Officer at UN Women since July 2022, with previous roles including Legal Specialist at the same organization from December 2019 to July 2022. Before that, Michel worked as a Legal Advisor at UNOPS from December 2014 to December 2019. Prior to their involvement with the United Nations, they held the position of Senior Consultant, Employee Relations at CIBC from July 2009 to December 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Business Partner, Employee Relations at Bank of Montreal from December 2007 to July 2009. Earlier in their career, Michel served as Counsel to the general manager at Fédération des producteurs de lait from July 2002 to July 2006, and as Legal Counsel at Makivik Corporation from 1999 to 2002.

Michel Boulianne received their LLB degree in Law from Université de Sherbrooke. Michel then pursued further studies and obtained an LLM degree in Private and Public International Law from Université de Montréal. Michel later pursued an MBA degree at HEC Montréal.
