Stephen Kibathi Gitonga

Stephen Kibathi Gitonga is an experienced professional with a strong background in programme analysis, monitoring, and reporting, currently serving as a Programme Analyst–Business Support at UN Women since May 2017. Stephen Kibathi provides technical support for strategic planning and reporting and has held various roles within UN Women, including Monitoring and Reporting Analyst and Programme Officer for Humanitarian Action and Disaster Risk Reduction. Prior to joining UN Women, Stephen worked with UNDP as a Programme Assistant focusing on monitoring and evaluation, and with the Kenya Organisation for Environmental Education in natural resources management and project development. Education includes an MSc in International Development from the University of Birmingham, a Master's in Environmental Studies from Kenyatta University, and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources Management from Egerton University.
