Zaruhi Tonoyan

Zaruhi Tonoyan, MPA, PMP, CMCE, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management, human resources education, and capacity development in various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Programmes at People in Need since July 2023, Zaruhi's previous roles include Programme Coordinator at the United Nations Population Fund, where management of the Gender-Biased Sex Selection regional programme was pivotal, and Programme Manager overseeing the EU COVID-19 Solidarity Programme for Eastern Partnership. Zaruhi has also lectured in Human Resources Management and Leadership at Yerevan State Medical University and is a CMI Certified Trainer at the International Academy of Business. With a strong background in disaster risk reduction, monitoring and evaluation, and public-private partnerships, Zaruhi holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Georgia, U.S.A.
