William Lyons

William Lyons currently serves as a Professor of Practice in Engineering at Norwich University and holds the position of Director at the Center for Global Resilience and Security, overseeing interdisciplinary research and curriculum development. As the Founder and CEO of Fort Hill Companies LLC, a global architecture and engineering firm, Lyons provides a wide range of services to both government and private sectors. Additionally, Lyons is involved in various academic roles, including Adjunct Faculty positions at multiple universities and serving as an Academic Supervisor at the University of Cambridge. A retired Colonel from the US Army, Lyons has extensive military and leadership experience, complemented by multiple advanced degrees, including a Juris Doctor and ongoing PhD studies in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
