Carlos González Correa

Biochemist from the University of Concepción and Doctor of Science with a mention in Biology from the University of Chile. He has a long academic and educational management career, holding, among other roles, the positions of professor and director of the Department of Microbiology, Vice Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences at the University of Concepción, as well as Vice Chancellor of Research and Development. of that institution.

In his professional experience, he also stands out for having twice held the national vice-presidency of the Chilean Association of Microbiology, being a member of one of the advisory subcommittees and peer evaluator of the National Accreditation Commission of Chile (CNA).
