Alain Dupuis

Alain Dupuis has extensive experience in the field of industrial development, IoT solutions, and technology leadership. Alain is currently the VP of Industrial Development at UnaBiz, a prominent IoT service provider. In this role, Alain oversees sensor product design, manufacturing, and data platform services across LPWA technologies. Prior to their current position, Alain worked as a Lecturer at Strate School of Design Singapore, where they shared their expertise with aspiring designers. Before that, they served as the CTO of Applied IoT, leading technology developments and providing intelligent data solutions to businesses. Alain also held the position of VP of Industrial Development at UnaBiz previously, where they focused on creating new business opportunities in key verticals.

Earlier in their career, Alain worked at Airbus Group, where they held various positions such as Head of TESTIA Asia-Pacific, Head of MRO Cluster - Airbus Group Innovations South Asia, and Research Team Leader at EADS Innovation Works. Alain played a key role in introducing advancements in aircraft maintenance through digital information deployment and wearable computing technology. Alain also has experience in project management as the Manager at Olympus Technologies Singapore Pte Ltd. Additionally, they have held managerial roles at Newares, Realistix Laboratories, and Model 2 Mold Pte Ltd. Alain started their career as a Freelance Consultant, providing their expertise to various clients.

Alain Dupuis has a diverse education history. Alain began their academic journey in 1982 at Saint Gab', where they completed their Bac E in mathematics and technology. From 1985 to 1987, they attended Lycée Chevrolier - Angers, earning their BTS Bureau d'Etude in Mechanical Engineering. Alain then pursued further education at CREAPOLE from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Master's degree. In 1992, they attended CEPAC and completed a Certificate in Business Administration. Alain's education journey concluded in 1994 at the Université de La Réunion, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
