Thomas Davison, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of data science and astronomy. Thomas is currently working as a Team Lead - Senior Data Scientist at Unacast since December 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Doctoral Student at both the European Southern Observatory and the University of Central Lancashire, where they focused on building and applying advanced data science and statistical methods to analyze immense datasets and gain insights into galaxy evolution and the history of the universe. Thomas also served as a Research Intern at the University of Central Lancashire, where they developed and analyzed galactic simulations using various programming languages. Thomas started their career as a Work Experience Student at the University of Oxford. Thomas Davison, PhD received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Astrophysics from the University of Central Lancashire in 2017. Thomas then pursued further education and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Astrophysics from the European Southern Observatory & University of Central Lancashire in 2021. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning on Google Cloud Specialization from Coursera in May 2022.
