Simon Gatrall

Simon Gatrall has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Simon has worked as a Director of Product Development and Lead Mechanical Engineer at Unagi Scooters since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Development Consultant at Independent from February 2021 to November 2021.

Simon has also held multiple roles at PCH International, including Senior Manager and Mechanical Design Engineer, Principal. Simon has experience in project leadership, product engineering, design, architecture, manufacturing processes, design controls, and client/vendor liaison. Simon worked at PCH International from November 2012 to February 2021.

Earlier in their career, Simon worked as a Product Development Manager and Consultant Engineer at Intuity Medical, Inc. where they played a key role in the mechanical design and development of a hand-held blood glucose meter. Simon has also worked as a Project Leader, Designer, and CAD Manager at IDEO, where they directed multi-disciplinary teams and managed projects for various clients.

Simon has additional experience as a Consultant Engineer at Sparkfactor Design and Bridge Design, among other companies. Simon founded Swivel Systems and was responsible for all aspects of the company, including product design, management, and marketing.
