Christian Mouala serves as the Country Director and Representative for UNAIDS, with a significant focus on political partnership and social justice in the East-Southern Africa region. With over two decades of experience in public health and humanitarian efforts, Mouala has held various leadership roles, including Coordinator positions at Observatoire du Risque Infectieux en Gériatrie and Croix-Rouge française. Academic achievements include a PhD in Public Health from Sorbonne Université and specialized training from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School and the Pasteur Institute. Currently, Mouala is involved in improving health practices as an Associate Research Teacher at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord.
