Rita Maria Franca

Rita Maria Franca has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Rita Maria currently holds the position of People Director at Unbabel since October 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of People Ops at Unbabel from September 2019 to October 2022 and as a People Success Manager from April 2018 to September 2019. Before joining Unbabel, Rita worked as a Human Resources Manager at Memmo Unforgettable Hotels from May 2017 to April 2018. Rita Maria also gained valuable experience at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, where they held various roles including Assistant of Human Resources Director & Operation Innovation Yellow Belt, Human Resources Executive, and Student Internship from 2013 to 2017.

Rita Maria Franca has a Master's degree in Ciências da Comunicação - Comunicação, Organização e Liderança from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Human Resources and Strategic Organization from the Universidade Europeia from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they also obtained a Licentiate degree in Gestão de Recursos Humanos e Organização Estratégica from the Universidad Europea. Rita Maria completed a Curso de Apresentador de TV, Rádio e Eventos in Comunicação Social at ETIC - Escola Técnica de Imagem e Comunicação in 2010.
