Courtney Lea Torres is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in program development and implementation. Currently serving as Chief Program Officer at Girls Leadership since June 2024, Courtney has also held roles such as Fellowship Instructor and Coach for the National Aspiring Principal Fellowship at New Leaders since April 2019 and Director of Program Implementation at UnboundEd.org since July 2020. With a robust background in school leadership, Courtney has contributed as Interim Superintendent at Imagine Clay Avenue Community School and Middle School Principal at Omar D. Blair Charter School. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Religious Studies from Occidental College, a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Holy Names University, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Phoenix.
