Sierah Tyson

Sierah Tyson is a seasoned education professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Cohort Programs at UnboundEd.org since July 2016. In this role, Sierah drives the vision and strategy for leadership development programs, including the System Leaders Academy™ and Equity Influencer Residency™. Previous positions at UnboundEd included Director of Cohort Programs, where Sierah devised a cohesive vision and evaluated program impacts, and Director of English Language Arts, focusing on professional learning experiences for system leaders. Sierah's background also includes roles as a Michigan Education Policy Fellow at Strategic Community Partners, English Language Arts Teacher at University Preparatory High School, and Corps Member with Teach For America. An educational background includes a Master of Education in Urban Pedagogy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgetown University.
