Amy Kelso

Amy Kelso has an extensive legal career, currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel at UNC Charlotte since September 1997, after holding positions including Associate General Counsel and Associate University Attorney at the same institution. Prior experience includes a role as Judicial Law Clerk for Chief Judge Gerald Arnold at the NC Court of Appeals from 1995 to 1997 and internships at the NC Department of Justice and Epting and Hackney. Amy began her professional journey in marketing at The University of North Carolina Press, where responsibilities included managing marketing materials and participating in scholarly conferences. Academic credentials include a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with additional studies at The University of Manchester.
