Calvin Fleming III

Calvin Fleming III is an accomplished electrical engineer and educator with current roles as an Adjunct Lecturer in Electrical Engineering Technology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and as an Adjunct Instructor in Computer Engineering Technology at Central Piedmont Community College. Since August 2021, Calvin has been involved in teaching fundamental engineering courses, including Power System & Machines, Electronic Circuits & Devices, and Programmable Logic Controllers. Previously, Calvin served as a Senior Product Engineer at Jenkins Electric Company and held the position of Senior Manufacturing Engineer at ABB, focusing on the testing of large AC induction motors. Additional experience includes a co-op internship at PowerC LLC, where Calvin contributed to power distribution system development using ETAP software. Calvin's military background includes service as an 82nd Airborne Paratrooper in the US Army from June 1997 to June 2005.
