Daniela Recabarren

Daniela Recabarren serves as the Associate Director for Health Equity and Direct Care and is also a Staff Psychologist at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since August 2016. Prior to this role, Daniela held the position of Assistant Director at the same institution. Daniela's previous experience includes a Doctoral Internship in Counseling Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University from August 2015 to July 2016 and working as a Mental Health Counselor at Cornerstone of Recovery, Inc. from July 2012 to July 2015. Daniela's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earned from 2010 to 2015, a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami completed in 2010, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Miami obtained in 2006.
