Amy Higgins

Chief Transformation & Experience Officer at UNC Health

Amy Higgins serves as the Chief Transformation & Experience Officer (CTE) for UNC Health Care. In this role, she leads strategic planning, market research, business development and regulatory affairs. Amy joined UNC Health Care as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Network Development in 2008 and assumed system-level responsibilities in 2012.

Amy came to UNC Health Care from The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global strategy consulting firm. Based in BCG’s Chicago office, Amy led consulting teams that worked with senior executives across industries to address complex strategic and operational challenges.

Amy holds an MBA from The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Arts in Music from The University of South Carolina, where she was a Carolina Scholar. She also attended the University of London Royal Holloway as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar.
