Jeri Williams

Jeri Williams serves as Chief Audit and Compliance Officer for UNC Health. She joined UNC Health Care in 2015 to lead the system audit, compliance and privacy programs.

Prior to joining UNC Health Care, she worked at Mission Health in Asheville, where she last served as Senior Vice President and Corporate Compliance Officer. Williams spent most of her career at Mission Health, developing and leading the audit, compliance and privacy programs as the healthcare system grew and expanded over the years.

Williams holds an MBA from Western Carolina University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French from Western Carolina University. She is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Healthcare Compliance professional and a Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional. Over her career, she has been an active member of the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors including serving in regional and board leadership positions. She is also a long time member of the Health Care Compliance Association.
