Kelsey Wayne

Kelsey Wayne, LCSW, currently serves as an Embedded Care Manager in Population Health at UNC Health since September 2022, where responsibilities include providing behavioral health brief counseling, case management, and conducting Annual Wellness Medicare visits within primary care practices. Prior experience includes working as a Behavioral Health Provider with Kintegra Health from November 2019 to May 2022, delivering care in various educational and senior care settings in Gaston and Catawba Counties, and serving as an Intensive In-Home Lead Therapist at Support Incorporated, where care was provided to high acuity youth and their families. Kelsey Wayne also contributed to research as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from May 2018 to May 2019, focusing on mental health within the Latinx community. Early roles included outreach program leadership with the Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont and coordination with AmeriCorps VISTA. Kelsey Wayne holds a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Studies and Spanish from Appalachian State University.
