Kathy Therber

Kathy Therber is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in wellness and program management. Currently serving as a Mindfulness Teacher and Yoga Therapist at The After Cancer since January 2024, Kathy has been a Yoga Therapist at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center since October 2016. As the Founder, Owner, and Instructor of YogaNow Health and Wellness, launched in 2005, Kathy innovatively brought yoga to clients in a non-traditional format. Previous roles include Programming Manager at Girls on the Run of the Triangle, where Kathy developed impactful programs for young girls, and Director of Marketing Communications at West Coast Life, responsible for enhancing company presence through strategic marketing initiatives. Kathy's background also encompasses experience as a Program Director at Independent Living, Inc., and roles within human resources and community engagement. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications and Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington.
