Gaochao Deng serves as a Junior Policy and Research Analyst at UNCTAD since May 2019, focusing on the entrepreneurship ecosystem in developing countries and engaging with entrepreneurs and governments to establish entrepreneurship programs. Responsibilities include strategic support for fundraising initiatives, analysis of donor countries for potential opportunities, and preparation of briefings and presentations for senior management. Previously, Gaochao worked as an Information Management Intern at the UN Environment Programme, where research on startups was conducted, including SWOT analyses and policy research on Green Finance. Gaochao holds a Master's degree in Management from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and emlyon business school, as well as a Bachelor's degree from Central University of Finance and Economics.
