Maria Alejandra Gonzalez-Perez is a distinguished academic and leader in the field of sustainability and international business. Currently serving as a member of the International Advisory Board at Nile University, Maria has held multiple roles at Universidad EAFIT since 2008, including Distinguished Professor, Head of the Master in Sustainability, and Full Professor of Management. Notably, Maria co-created an interdisciplinary Masters in Sustainability program and has made significant contributions to corporate social responsibility, value chain analysis, and international labor migration through various research and teaching positions. Maria has been involved with esteemed organizations such as the Global Strategy Journal, Emerald Publishing, and the Association of Certified Commercial Diplomats. Maria's educational background includes a PhD in International Business and Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Galway and a psychologist degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
