Lindsay Crighton

Lindsay Crighton is currently the Senior Director of Development for the College of Science and Engineering at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, having held this position since September 2017. Previously, Crighton served as the Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences at the same institution. Prior experience includes the role of Associate Director of Gift Planning at the University of Houston, where responsibilities included managing over 200 prospects and securing over $1.5 million in gifts. Crighton also worked at Clemson University as the Assistant Director of Trusts, Estates & Gift Planning, where approximately $8 million was secured from a portfolio of 150 prospects. Early career involvement included serving as a Development Officer at Coker College, where Crighton initiated the college's first gift planning program. Crighton holds a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Coker University.
