Josh Salmi

Josh Salmi is an experienced professional in the aerospace industry, currently serving as an Aerospace Student Ambassador at UND Aerospace since November 2021. In this role, Josh provides prospective students and visitors with tours, represents the school at industry events, manages social media engagement, and assists with student concerns. Previously, Josh worked as an Aviator’s Corner Sales Associate, focusing on sales and marketing of aviation products, and creating various aviation-related materials. In the summer of 2023, Josh interned with Textron Aviation, gaining experience in sales operations, business development, and customer engagement for the Beechcraft Denali and the company's product lineup. Josh is pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Commercial Aviation and Business Administration with a focus on Aviation Management at the University of North Dakota, and holds an Advanced Studies Diploma with a Governor’s Seal for Academic Excellence from Lake Braddock Secondary School.
