Rick Maderis

Rick Maderis is a seasoned designer in the footwear and graphic design industries with extensive experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings. Currently serving as the Sr. Footwear Color Designer at Under Armour since December 2021, Rick leads color design for various footwear lines, including UA Basketball and the Curry Brand, while also managing special projects. As the Founder of Burnside Knives, LLC, established in 2015, Rick emphasizes form, function, and style in outdoor and professional tools. Previous roles include significant design positions at Nike, where Rick worked on iconic footwear graphics for the Jordan brand, and at adidas as a Graphic Design Lead. Rick's career began after earning a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes and a certificate from PENSOLE Footwear Design Academy.
