Robert Cunningham

Robert Cunningham started their work experience as the Head of School at The Gateway School from July 2004 to June 2013. Robert then held the position of Executive Director at Robert Louis Stevenson School from 2014 to 2019. From 2017 to 2019, they also served as the Executive Director at Purnell School. In 2015, they were an Advisor on Learning Differences at New Profit. Starting from 2013, they became the Executive Director of Learning Development at Understood.org. Recently, in November 2019, they took on the roles of Interim President and CEO, and CEO at the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children.

Robert Cunningham attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Robert later pursued further education at Teachers College, Columbia University from 1995 to 2005. During this period, they obtained a Master of Arts and an Ed.M. degree in Special Education, with a focus on Curriculum and Teaching.
