A Landscape Account Manager plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing landscaping projects and client relationships. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this position:

Responsibilities:

    • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
    • Project Coordination: Develop and implement work plans, coordinate scheduling, budgeting, and staffing for landscaping projects.
    • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work provided, ensuring it meets or exceeds client expectations.
    • Team Leadership: Train and oversee landscaping crews, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Sales and Proposals: Prepare and present proposals for additional landscape services or upgrades based on client needs.
    • Site Inspections: Perform regular site inspections to ensure maintenance standards are upheld and identify opportunities for improvement.

Minimum qualifications:

Experience: Ability to perform all competencies of Site Supervisor, with experience managing a multiple landscape management project portfolio with strong interpersonal skills and strong leadership abilities.

Language Skills: College education or equivalent preferred but not required.  Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English with appropriate grammar and vocabulary

Computer Skills: High degree of skill and experience using Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK.

Math Skills: Advanced math skills, understanding of calculations regarding square footages, GPM, cubic footages, and basic accounting principles.

Certificates: SPCC certified, ALCA Certified (or actively working towards certification)

Driving:  Must have valid AZ Driver’s License, acceptable DMV report and pass AAA Landscape driving test. 

Work Environment: Typically first light until 3-5 PM.  Must be available to attend after normal working hour’s meetings and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities: Same as Site Supervisor with additional responsibilities mentioned above.

Education: An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural business, horticulture, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary scale:

Portfolio size and profitability of projects/portfolio in relation to budgeted margins are critical.  A large portfolio without meeting profit margin goals could reduce the Targeted Salary ranges below
