Abraham Yaru Ortiz has a diverse and extensive work experience. Abraham Yaru began their career at Procter & Gamble in 2010 as a Sales Representative, where they demonstrated strong leadership abilities by leading two top sales zones and managing a team of over 30 individuals. Abraham Yaru then transitioned to the role of Key Account Manager, where they were responsible for managing accounts in the drug-wholesaler and pharmacy channel, achieving a 116% increase in point of sale (POS) growth and successfully negotiating seasonal plans. Additionally, they increased pharmacies' coverage from 60% to 80% and implemented new commercial conditions tailored to the channel's needs.

In 2016, Ortiz joined The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company as a Key Account Manager, focusing on business development and account management across various retail channels, home centers, wholesalers, and direct-to-consumer accounts. Abraham Yaru achieved a 137% increase in point of sale (POS) and successfully developed eight new clients and regional hardware stores as a new channel. Ortiz continued to excel in their career at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and was promoted to Division Sales Manager, where they led the Independent National Account Team (INAT). In this role, they were responsible for prospecting new accounts, developing go-to-market strategies, and managing accounts across different channels, resulting in a significant sales growth of 164% in FY2017 and 158% in FY2018. Abraham Yaru also successfully established new sales channels and developed key accounts such as Al Super with a 187% increase in point of sale (POS).

Ortiz then transitioned to Thane Direct in 2019 as a Sales Manager, where they were responsible for developing a go-to-market strategy to penetrate new channels, prospecting potential clients, and managing accounts in various sectors such as kitchen, beauty, and sports categories. Abraham Yaru successfully expanded into three new channels, including drug wholesalers and pharma, regional furniture stores, and direct sales accounts. Abraham Yaru also established partnerships with Nadro, Muebles América, and Andrea, three top national accounts.

Most recently, Ortiz joined Mercado Libre in 2020 as a Category Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the personal and baby care categories in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector. Abraham Yaru achieved impressive results, including an 80% year-over-year sales growth in various categories such as hair care, skincare, diapers, and wipes. Abraham Yaru was accountable for a significant portion of the team's business, overseeing live listings, sellers, commercial campaigns, and hunting opportunities. Ortiz played a pivotal role in managing Mercado Ads and Mercado Shops, leading to increased sales and market presence.

Currently, Ortiz holds the position of Senior Business Development Manager at UnDosTres, where they continue to leverage their extensive experience in business development and sales to drive growth and achieve strategic objectives.

Abraham Yaru Ortiz has a strong educational background in engineering. Abraham Yaru earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, they also attended North Carolina State University to further their studies in the same field.

In 2014 to 2015, Abraham pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management at the University of Glasgow. This demonstrates their commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise in engineering.
