Afruza Tanzi

Afruza Tanzi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare, social entrepreneurship, and community development. Currently serving as an Engagement Officer at UNDP since October 2024, Afruza is also the Founder and CEO of H3O Bangladesh since May 2023. Previously, Afruza held the position of Manager for Healthcare Ventures at Spreeha Foundation, working on sustainable healthcare solutions. With a solid background at It's Humanity Foundation, Afruza led programs to empower women in vulnerable populations and executed awareness campaigns on critical health issues. Additional roles included facilitating youth training sessions for the Movers Programme and serving as Chief Operating Officer at Protibha, where Afruza focused on women's empowerment. Afruza's educational foundation includes a BSc in Biotechnology from BRAC University, gained in 2021.
