Jana Koperniech

Jana Koperniech is a highly experienced professional in climate change mitigation and energy management, currently serving as the Regional Technical Specialist for Climate Change Mitigation for Europe and Central Asia at UNDP since April 2017. With a strong background in environmental finance and operational policy development, Jana previously held multiple roles at the Green Climate Fund from August 2015 to March 2017, including Global Technical Specialist for Energy, Technical Specialist for Climate Change, and Environmental Finance Expert. Earlier in the career, Jana worked as a Consultant for the Renewable and Rural Energy Unit at UNIDO from September 2012 to August 2015, focusing on project management.
