Marcela M. T.

Marcela M. T. is a seasoned Green Energy Specialist at UNDP, where responsibilities include leading the ITM Green Energy Team and managing various projects aimed at promoting sustainable energy solutions. With a background as a Green Energy Associate and Consultant, Marcela supports the global ICT strategy while implementing green energy initiatives in UNDP country offices. Previous experience includes energy engineering roles focused on solar PV systems in Kenya, technical support at the University of Luxembourg, and research internships in electrical engineering. Marcela holds a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Luxembourg, supplemented by business studies in energy transition and specialized training in astronomy.
