Tainan Messina

Tainan Messina, a Program Officer at UNEP-WCMC, has a background in coordinating environmental projects, conducting botanical research, and pursuing a PhD in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies at Universidade de Lisboa. Prior to their current role, they served as a Programme Officer at GBIF Portugal and worked on the Brazilian Plant Red Listing project at Rio de Janeiro Botanic Garden.
