Carlos Shanka B.

Carlos Shanka B. is an experienced advocate for sustainability and environmental issues, currently serving as the Founder of Global Shapers Las Palmas since September 2022 and holding multiple roles, including Next Generation Board Member at ClientEarth and European Climate Pact Ambassador with the European Commission. As a Champion for The Global Youth Coalition, Carlos engages youth in climate advocacy and policy-making. Additional contributions include serving as IEMA Futures Representative and Climate Reality Leader, along with a strategic role at Windō. Carlos has participated in UN Environment Assembly events as a youth delegate, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology from the University of Bristol along with various educational pursuits in plant sciences and global sustainability.
