Noah Sobe

Noah Sobe is the Chief of Section for Higher Education at UNESCO, where they lead a team focused on the organization’s initiatives in the higher education sector. Additionally, Sobe is a Professor at Loyola University Chicago and served as President of the Comparative and International Education Society from 2017 to 2018. Their prior experience at UNESCO includes the role of Senior Project Officer, where they directed research and engagement activities for the organization's futures of education initiative. Sobe earned a BA in History and International Relations from Tufts University, a MA in International and Transcultural Studies from Teachers College of Columbia University, and a PhD in Curriculum Theory and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
