David Nthengwe

David Nthengwe has extensive experience in communications and external relations, currently serving as the External Relations and Communications Concept Developer at UNHCR since September 2000. In this role, David leads the development of communication strategies, drafts mass communication campaign strategies, and prepares technical documents for websites. Responsibilities also include advocating for the rights of displaced persons and acting as a media focal point during humanitarian crises. Previously, David worked as a Public Information Officer at UNHCR Namibia from 2000 to 2003, and as a Regional Information Researcher for MISA in Windhoek, Namibia, from 1995 to 1999, focusing on media freedom violations and advocacy. David holds a Master's degree in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester.
