Francesca Coloni

Francesca Coloni has extensive experience in humanitarian and technical support roles, currently serving as the Chief of Technical Support Section at UNHCR since 2012. Previous positions at UNHCR include Shelter Cluster Coordinator in Iraq and Senior Regional WASH Officer for the Middle East and North Africa. Francesca's earlier experience includes a role as Water and Habitat Specialist at the International Committee of the Red Cross - Red Crescent from 2010 to 2011, and various positions at Médecins Sans Frontières, including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Coordinator and WASH Specialist. Francesca's career began as a freelance Civil Engineer from 2001 to 2007. Francesca holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Water and Environment from Università degli Studi di Trieste.
