Juan Camilo Blanco is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovative financing and partnerships within the humanitarian sector. Currently serving as an Innovative Financing Officer at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, Juan focuses on implementing nontraditional resources for refugees and displaced populations. Previously, as the Head of Partnerships and Strategic Operations at Tent Partnership for Refugees, Juan developed the global strategy for UNSTUCK, creating employment opportunities for refugees. Prior to this, Juan held roles at the United Nations, accelerating fintech initiatives and directing public policy strategies for the Better than Cash Alliance, and gained experience in financial inclusion and microfinance. Juan's educational background includes a Master's degree in Global Development Policy from Boston University, a Digital Payments certificate from Tufts University, and a Bachelor's degree in History and Modern Languages from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
