Laurent Pitoiset has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. From 1997 to 2001, they worked at HP as a Project Manager and Community Manager. Laurent then joined Citigroup in 2001 as a Project Manager and Developer. From 2004 to 2007, they served as a Senior Program Manager at Convera. In 2008, Laurent joined Yahoo! as a Sr. Program Manager, overseeing Operations and Infrastructure for strategic Yahoo products. In this role, they managed distributed teams, aligned IT investments with business objectives, and provided strategic guidance for technical initiatives. In 2013, they became the Chief of Unit, Digital Solutions at UNHCR.
Laurent Pitoiset holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Ecole d'Ingénieurs de Genève, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991. Laurent also has a Master's degree in computer software from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, which they obtained from 1997 to 1999. Laurent further pursued their education by completing an Executive MBA from emlyon business school between 2010 and 2012. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in ITIL v3 foundation from ITIL and in Certified Ethical Hacker from skillsoft in 2018.
