Mohammad Khuran has extensive experience in the field of refugee protection, currently serving as a Protection Associate - Community Based at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) since October 2015. In this role, Mohammad assists various functional units and senior management in integrating community-based approaches within protection strategies. Prior to this, Mohammad worked at UNHCR as a Registration Associate from August 2012 to February 2015, where responsibilities included conducting refugee status determination interviews, managing case referrals, and counseling asylum-seekers. Mohammad also held the position of Senior Registration Assistant, focusing on the registration process and reporting for asylum seekers and refugees. Mohammad's earlier career included service with the Jordanian Armed Forces from April 2008 to June 2012. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Web/Multimedia Management from Geneva Academy and a Bachelor's degree in Political and Military Science from Damascus University.
