Mumbi Gichuhi is a Senior Resettlement Assistant at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, since January 2022, with extensive experience in legal and humanitarian roles. Prior to this position, Mumbi served as an Associate and Trainee Lawyer at DLA Piper Africa, Kenya (IKM Advocates) from January 2020 to October 2021, and as a Violin Tutor at Ghetto Classics from February 2015 to February 2019. Mumbi's earlier experiences include internships at UNHCR in Durable Solutions (Resettlement), the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, Nakuru Chief Magistrate's Court, and Refugee Consortium of Kenya. Mumbi began professional development as an Administration Assistant and Language Consultant at the University of Liberia. Mumbi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Strathmore University, completed in 2018.
