Radwa Sharaf

Radwa Sharaf currently serves as a GWA Engagement Officer and previously held the position of Digital Influencer Engagement Officer for the Global Goodwill Ambassador Programme at UNHCR, starting in November 2023. From February 2019 to July 2023, Radwa was a Senior Communications Associate at UNHCR Egypt, where a successful portfolio for celebrity and influencer engagement was initiated, and 15 impactful digital campaigns were developed. Earlier roles included Public Information Associate at UNHCR, where the celebrity engagement portfolio and local digital campaigning initiatives were established, and Deputy Managing Editor at Ida2at, focusing on journal policy development and public figure relations. Educational background includes an MA in Media Practice for Development and Social Change from the University of Sussex and a BSc in Political Science from Cairo University.
