Shahrad Jafari

Shahrad Jafari is an experienced IT professional specializing in cybersecurity with a strong background in operations and management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Country Operations Cybersecurity Focal Point and IT Associate at UNHCR since December 2018, Shahrad has successfully assessed and improved compliance with security policies, trained over 300 staff members, and provided consultancy for significant projects, including those involving artificial intelligence. Previously, Shahrad held roles at the Danish Refugee Council and the Peace Tribunal, focusing on ICT management, security training, database design, and web security. Education includes a Master's degree in Computer Visual Effects from The Australian National University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Azad University (IAU).
