Shirin Pakfar has extensive experience in partnership development and international relations, notably serving as Chief of Section for Private Partnerships and Philanthropy at UNHCR from September 2017 to August 2018, focusing on global partnerships for humanitarian support. Prior to this role, Shirin held various positions at the United Nations from January 2003 to August 2017, including Head of Partnership Development and Political Adviser, engaging in conflict resolution and humanitarian issues across multiple regions. Additional consultancy work was completed at ReD Associates and research was conducted as a Senior Fellow at the Danish Institute for International Studies. Shirin's academic credentials include a Certificate in Women in Leadership from INSEAD and a Master's degree in Development Economics from the London School of Economics.
