René Rasmussen

René Rasmussen has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. René started their career in 1998 as an electrician at Scandinavian Contractors A/S, where they worked on shipyards in Norway, including platforms, ships, and refineries. In 2000, they joined J. Lauritzen A/S, initially serving as a flying squad member before progressing to 3rd engineer, 2nd engineer, and eventually, chief engineer. René worked at J. Lauritzen A/S until 2010. Following that, they joined Uni-Tankers A/S and held various roles, including 2nd engineer, chief engineer, and technical superintendent. Their most recent role, as of November 2022, is as a chief engineer at Uni-Tankers A/S.

René Rasmussen attended Fredericia Maskinmester Skole from 1995 to 1998 and obtained a degree in Marine Engineering.
