Sophie Nagler is a PhD Candidate in Philosophy, Logic, Language, and Computation at both the University of St Andrews and the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam, beginning in September 2022. Additionally, Sophie has served as a Tutor for UniAdmissions since November 2019, successfully guiding secondary school pupils through the UCAS application process for undergraduate programs at Oxford. Previous roles include Editor in Chief of The New Collection at New College, Oxford, where Sophie led the peer-review process, and various admissions assistance positions in Philosophy and Mathematics at the University of Oxford. Earlier experience includes a Visiting Researcher position at the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy (MCMP), and teaching assistance in general philosophy of science. Sophie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Philosophy (BPhil) from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy and Psychology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
