Subir Nandy

Subir Nandy is a Principal Scientist at Unibio since January 2015, focusing on optimizing processes and methodologies based on patented fermentation technology, following a role as a Senior Fermentation Specialist. Prior to this, Subir Nandy held a postdoctoral position at the Technical University of Denmark, where work involved filamentous microorganisms and yeast strains in various EU projects, alongside experience in statistical modeling for fermentation process optimization. Subir Nandy's background includes a postdoctoral role at Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in the physiological characterization of recombinant yeast strains, and a PhD in Bio-Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Subir Nandy also possesses a master's and bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University, highlighting expertise in fermentation processes, metabolic cell activity methods, and experimental design.
