Tim Richardson

Tim Richardson has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and engineering industry. Tim is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Unibuddy since January 2022. In this role, they report to the CEO and works as part of the executive team to develop and implement the company's business, technology, and people strategy. Tim leads a team of 50 Engineers and focuses on aligning the technical strategy with the company's goals.

Prior to their current role, Tim held multiple positions at ClearScore from 2016 to 2021. Tim served as the Director of Marketplace Engineering from June 2021 to December 2021, Director of UK Engineering from July 2019 to May 2021, Head of Platform Delivery from September 2017 to June 2019, and Head of Operations from August 2016 to August 2017.

Before joining ClearScore, Tim worked at Funding Circle UK as the DevOps Lead from November 2015 to August 2016. Tim also served as the Head of Platforms at MATCHESFASHION.COM from October 2014 to October 2015.

From 2013 to 2014, Tim held the position of Head of IT Infrastructure Operations and Service Delivery at Business Monitor International, where they led a team of 8 members and provided web and infrastructure operations, application support, and help desk services. During their tenure, the company was successfully acquired by Fitch Group, and Tim played an important role in promoting the maturity of BMI's IT infrastructure and processes to prospective buyers.

Prior to that, Tim worked as the Professional Services Manager at NCC Group Web Performance (formerly Site Confidence) from December 2010 to March 2013. Tim led a team of technical consultants and played a key role in developing web performance advisory services.

Tim also has experience as the Head of Operations at Practical Law Company from June 2009 to October 2010, where they were responsible for the delivery of web services and the operation of web delivery platforms.

Before that, Tim served as the Head of Infrastructure at The Digital Property Group Ltd. from November 2007 to June 2009, overseeing the web delivery systems and managing the infrastructure team.

Tim's earlier experience includes roles such as Network & Infrastructure Architect and System Administrator at i-CD Publishing (UK) Ltd. from 2005 to 2007, and System Administrator at Infinitive Speech Systems UK from June 2001 to May 2005.
