Keren Elton

Keren Elton has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Keren is currently serving as the Head of Institutional Funding at UNICEF UK, a position they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the British Asian Trust as a Senior Programme Fundraising Manager from February 2022 to April 2023. Keren also has experience at the Association of Commonwealth Universities, where they served as a Business & Programme Development Manager from September 2017 to February 2022.

In addition, Keren has worked in the non-profit sector, including roles as a Trustee for International Programmes at Young Roots since September 2016 and as a Project Consultant at Future Hope from January 2017 to August 2017. Keren also worked as a Fundraising Consultant at Sanlaap during the same time period. Keren gained experience in member-centric roles at Chatham House, where they held positions as a Senior Officer of Individual Membership, Individual Membership Officer, and Individual Membership Assistant from 2014 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Keren served as a Councillor's Assistant at the City of Ottawa from October 2013 to March 2014. Keren also spent several years as a Programme Coordinator at the City of Ottawa from May 2004 to September 2012. In 2011, they worked as a Policy and Administrative Assistant at Oxfam Canada.

Keren Elton completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, from 2003 to 2007. Keren then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Carleton University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Lastly, they obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Migration, Mobility, and Development from the SOAS University of London, where they studied between 2012 and 2014.
