Austin Cathey, MPH, currently serves as a Community Engagement Associate for UNICEF USA since September 2023. Previously, Austin worked at Rush University Medical Center as a Community Engagement Research Coordinator from January 2022 to September 2023 and held the position of Global Health Research Specialist at Sinai Chicago from May 2020 to January 2022. Prior to these roles, Austin was a Patient Advocacy Coordinator at Advocate Aurora Health from February 2019 to May 2020. Academic experience includes serving as a Microbiology Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and roles focused on public health and mentoring at the University of Missouri Health Care and the Peer Undergraduate Mentoring Program. Austin earned a Master of Public Health with a focus on Global Health Policy and Equity from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
