Laura Brazee

Laura Brazee serves as the Senior Director of Youth and Volunteer Engagement at UNICEF USA since January 2023. Prior to this role, Laura held multiple positions at Plan International USA from April 2012 to January 2023, including Senior Technical Advisor and Youth Engagement Manager, focusing on youth advocacy and empowerment. Laura's earlier experience includes serving as a Policy and Advocacy Intern at CIVICUS, where involvement with local civil society organizations promoted policy influence in sustainable development and human rights. Additionally, Laura worked at Citizen Schools, overseeing recruitment and admissions processes, and began a career in youth engagement at Plan USA. Laura holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Rhode Island.
