Ahmad Abdelgalil

Ahmad Abdelgalil is a dedicated professional in youth and adolescent development, currently serving as a Youth and Adolescents Development and Participation Officer at UNICEF since July 2023, focusing on scaling up the Adolescent Development and Participation Programme in Egypt. Previously, Ahmad worked as a Gender and Economic Empowerment Specialist at Plan International, leading initiatives to empower women and girls in the carpet industry. Before that, Ahmad was the Monitoring and Evaluation Team Leader for a midterm review at Oxfam, assessing economic empowerment projects for youth. Ahmad's earlier roles include supporting fellowship programs at Ashoka, conducting research at The Economist, and providing account management services at Vodafone. Educational credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in Management at Non-Profit Organizations from Cairo University and a Micromasters in Data, Economics, and Development Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
